An error was discovered after a back-end production release that affected the pricing engine for a specific set of calculated price configurations. Due to the error, when scanning a transient ticket with specific calculated rates at the exit kiosks, the payment calculation was zero. The system would complete the ticket with no payment due and vend the gate. All other price configurations, such as prepay prices and flat rate prices, were not affected. Our engineering team completed a rollback of the update and we returned to standard behavior at exits. First Report of the incident: 2:21PM CST. The production release was rolled back at 3:30PM CST.
